失業卻每天仍假裝外出上班的父親阿匡，不惜一切維護家庭的母親阿秀，夢想去國外唸書的兒子一鵬。一家三口在各自扮演家庭角色的過程中，每個人都在掙扎中甚至犧牲著，但卻不了解對方內心所渴望的。正以為一切都圓滿落幕時，或許甚麼都還沒解決…

 

A-Kuang, o pai, está desempregado mas faz-de-conta que vai para o trabalho todos os dias. A Siou, a mãe, está disposta a tudo sacrificar para proteger a família. Yi-Peng, o filho, sonha estudar no estrangeiro. Lutam e sacrificam-se, mas nunca sabem o que os seus corações desejam. Quando as coisas parecem chegar a um final feliz, talvez nada esteja de facto resolvido... The father, A-Kuang, is jobless but pretends to go out to work everyday. The mother, A Siou, is willing to sacrifice everything to protect the family. The son, Yi-Peng, has a dream to study abroad.
